Motorola Mobility was preparing to release its first wearable gadgets, Moto 360, at the end of this year. However, Motorola's first boasted by saying that smart watches (smartwatch) circulating in the market is ugly in comparison homemade products.
According to Mark Randall, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations Motorola, Moto 360 more cool and has a solution of the weakness of the existing smartwatch.
"If you compare smartwatch Moto 360 with another, to be honest we think those products look ugly," said Randall, as quoted from Trusted Review (05/14/2014). When asked what is meant by ugly according to Randall, he explained that a product requires a unique identity, distinct from the others.
He added that the identity of Smasung Gear 2 or Sony SmartWatch 2 was less sexy. "People certainly do not want to look too often to use it," said Randall.
Moto 360 design brings a different and most of the smartwatch. The company which has been acquired by Lenovo that make the design smart watch with a circle large enough, while other box-shaped products.
"We have been getting positive feedback from our smartwatch, it was thanks to the beautiful design of the Moto 360," he said.
Moto 360 was first introduced in March 2014 and Motorola, and is scheduled to go on sale to the market in the second half of 2014.
However, Motorola has not revealed the smartwatch detailed specifications, including when the release date. Randall only confirm that the Moto 360 will be sold fairly expensive, unlike its two smartphones has just been released, Moto Moto, G and E.
