Toughest Android Phones : Blast Resistant

Currently available a number of tough Android phone models, which are resistant to water and dust. Well, what is even more powerful smartphone yet, to the extent that could survive the explosion?

That offered by Pixavi, Norway-based company engaged in the research and development of hardware and software, with a product called Impact X is claimed is the toughest in the world of smart phones.

As reported by Toms' Hardware, Impact X is nothing but an Android smartphone designed for use in hazardous areas such as oil refineries or mining.

In addition to water-resistant and dust to IP68 certification, the author also says that X Impact resistant to blast.

Impact description page X Pixavi site does not explain what exactly is meant explosion. Clearly, this phone is able to withstand the impact when dropped from a height of 2 meters.

Impact X is strongly impressed with the metal shell one-piece aluminum, Gorilla Glass-coated screen 2 mm thick, and the buttons are made of rubber so easy to use despite its wearing gloves.

Specification itself is quite normal, if not slightly lagging behind Android smartphones today. Impact X screen, for example, measuring only 4.3 inches with a resolution of 800x480. Indeed the maker prefers things like ease of viewing the screen under sunlight, toughness, and lifetime of the battery of 3,000 mAh.

There is also a pair of 8-megapixel camera on the back that may be used to record 3D video for specific purposes, according to the target users.

Pixavi not reveal the tag of X. Impact Seen from the things it offers, this phone may be appreciated a few hundred dollars more expensive than the other Android phones that carry the same class of hardware specifications.
