BARCELONA - Samsung finally announced the latest smartwatch , Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo . The main difference between the two new models of watches are smart Gear 2 Neo does not have a camera .
There are a number of performance improvements on both these devices , compared to the Galaxy Gear . Both have heart rate sensors and provide benefits as a fitness device . In addition there are also features a music player . Another feature is to have an infrared transmitter that can be used as a remote control for the TV . It is more interesting , the latest generation of this smartwatch backed Tizen OS , which is claimed by Samsung as the official OS wearable . Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo series is compatible with Samsung phones .
Like the Galaxy Gear , Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo has a 1.63 inch touch screen ( 320 x 320 pixels ) . And supported by a dual-core 1GHz processor , 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage space . Both have the option of color Charcoal Black and Wild Orange , but Gear 2 has a choice of other colors , namely Gold Brown and Gray Gear 2 Neo Mocha .
Although the price is not known , but Samsungmengatakan that these two new products will be marketed from April 2014 .
