BlckBerry : Displaying Special Message on Lockscreen

many features that are owned by a smartphone , often just a few features missing that are not maximized by the user .
On the BlackBerry device , a feature that is often overlooked is Owner Information . When enabled this feature will display the name and other additional information on the screen when the phone is locked . This will certainly increase the likelihood of a BlackBerry device to return to its owner when it inadvertently lost .

BlackBerry OS
1 . Enable Password









In the old BlackBerry OS , so that information displayed on the lockscreen Owner user must set a password . In this way, the security of data and information stored in BlackBerry will be relatively safer .
• To provide a password on the BlackBerry users simply activate the option Options > Security > Password > Mark (tick ) the Enable option .

• Click Set Password to create your password by typing in the New Password and repeat on the Verify New Password field .


To save the settings , press the back button and click Save or press the menu button then select Save .
 
2. Creating the information displayed on the Owner Information

After enabling the password the user can directly specify the message displayed on the lockscreen.

• By activating the password, should Owner Information has been displayed on the screen when the BlackBerry is locked. It's just that the user must specify the message that will be displayed by going to the settings option Options> Display> Message on Lock Screen.


• You can fill in the Display Owner Name in your name, then fill in the Display Information with additional information eg home or office address, contact number to call or a special message such as "if the BlackBerry is found, please contact ....". Tombal press back then click Save to save.

 

Other functions Display Information on BlackBerry OS

In addition will be displayed on the screen when the BlackBerry is locked, you write down the information on the column on the Information Display Message on Lock Screen menu also serves as a kind of digital signature that you can add at the end of an email or SMS.



This message can be added quickly by simply typing in your sig then a space or a period (.) Which stands for signature. Because automatically, which you write on Information Display column will be the replacement word in Word Subtitution sig (auto text).
 

BlackBerry 10

Unlike the BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10 you do not need to activate the Device Passwords to display the message on the lockscreen. Here's how.

1. Open the Settings> Security and Privacy.


2. Click Lockscreen.


3. Such as the BlackBerry OS, available 2 columns to display on the lockscreen. You can load any desired message in the second column. Should select the message that lets BlackBerry device returned to you if lost at any time.
