BlackBerry Messenger at Windows Phone Store with Private Beta Status

After announced a few months ago, a chat application BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) immediately finally makes its way to Windows Phone. Promise initially, BBM for Windows Phone will be released officially in July.

The statement expressed by BlackBerry CEO John Chen, while announcing the first quarter 2014 financial statements in the presence of investors and analysts. However, Chen did not reveal the exact date of the launch of BBM in Windows Phone. Estimates, occurred around mid-month. In order to meet this commitment, the BlackBerry was already displaying fuel applications in the Windows Phone Store.

BlackBerry Limited has installed fuel belonging to the Microsoft app store, but not in the final version completely. BBM is still present in private beta status. That is, only a few selected users who can download the BBM on your Windows Phone. The rest, could only look at the Windows Phone Store. Most likely, the fuel is undergoing a testing phase in order menggeber official release deadline

Once available on iOS and Android last year, BBM experience some progress. Among these is the addition of free calls between users of fuel.

Then how in Windows Phone? So far there has been no confirmation of whether there will be the development of fuel that will be applied in the current Windows Phone launched later. It could be, BBM for Windows Phone will have the same as in the version of Android and iOS. Or maybe there is a fundamental difference that causes the fuel for WP not launched simultaneously with two other platforms.

Expanding the availability of Windows Phone assessed will increase the number of BlackBerry users. Currently the fuel used by 160 million registered users worldwide with 85 million monthly active users. Of these, 50 million are mobile phone users BlackBerry.
