Blackphone Kitkat is Android-based smartphone that is the manufacturer of the safest in the world, claimed by Silent Circle.
However, security experts named Justin Case was successfully "breaking" Blackphone the DefCon conference held in Las Vegas, USA, late last week.

Case said that it only takes five minutes to gain root access on the device and activate Android Debugging Bridge (ADB). He did not even need to be opening any Blackphone bootloader.

However, the Silent Circle say that things are done by Case does not show the security flaws of its products.

"Turning ADB is not a security loophole because it is part of the Android operating system," said CSO Silent Circle cited by PCPro. "We shut down the ADB since it is an application bug that could affect the user experience."

Most exploits are discovered by the Case has now been patched. The rest can only be accessed by the user for approval. However, it inevitably raises security concerns Blackphone.

Silent Circle is the advanced aspects of security at BlackPhone. This phone uses a custom version of Android called Kitkat PrivatOS.
