Cleaning Data in Android

For those of you who often keep various kinds of personal data just as photos, financial records, or other things in the Android smartphone, be careful! Because according to a new study Avast Software, your personal data will not be completely lost even after deleted using the feature 'factory reset' or 'delete all' available.

Doing these two steps may not be enough to eliminate your personal data permanently. To be more safe and gives a sense of tranquility, the following steps you can take to secure your personal data on your Android device:

The first step: Encryption
You are advised to encrypt the device before doing the wipe (delete data). The process of encryption scrambles the data on your device and special steps are needed to decipher the encryption that you apply.

To do the encryption on Android device, you can do it by going to Settings> Security> Phone and select Encrypt.

Step two: Perform a factory reset (factory reset)
The next thing you should do is do a factory reset (factory reset). This can be done by going to Settings> Back up and reset> then select Factory Data Reset.

You should know that this step will erase all data on your phone. Therefore you should make backups of data first, if there is important data that needs to be saved.
