"Anti-social" Applications to Avoid Friend

While most social networking allows users to connect with each other , new applications Cloak actually offer the service to avoid friends .

Cloak public use data from social networking site Foursquare and Instagram to determine the location of people you know .

Users can get alerts when certain people close to them .

Cloak is described as an application to " avoid ex- lover , colleague , or anyone who wants to avoid " .

Analysts say , Cloak is the latest app from app antisocial tendencies .

Various similar apps like Snapchat ( which remove the photos and video after a few seconds accessible ) , and Secret ( that is spreading the message anonymously ) growing and increasingly popular .

Cloak designed by Brian Moore and former creative director of the social news site BuzzFeed , Chris Baker .

Baker explained to The Washington Post that the service is a new concept of social networking referrals .

" Services like Twitter and Facebook have been too hectic . Antisocial I think the popularity of the service would be uphill , " said Baker .

According to him , the service is developed not because of high market demand , but because the developers want to reach the social media market untapped .

App Magazine chief editor , Nick Jones , told the BBC that he was unsure of the Cloak , though admitted quite tempted .
