Samsung Working on Gear, Support 2 SIM Card

Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom are incorporated in the Tizen Association , reportedly working in collaboration latest variant of the Samsung Gear 2 that support the SIM card , thus allowing to make calls without having to connect to a smartphone .


 Reporting from koreaherald , Samsung and SK Telecom plans to release a new smart watches are equipped with a universal subscriber identity module , or USIM , through SK Telecom , the largest mobile operator in Korea .

One source of SK Telecom said that one day the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 this new model will only be available for a while for the Korean market , but it will possibly also be released in other global markets .

According to one of the speakers at Samsung Electronics , the Samsung Gear 2 will support SIM Card , the main problems that will be encountered is wasteful batteries . Because the watches are equipped with a USIM card will consume more power . However, given the Tizen OS platform that will be used for the Samsung Gears 2 , it is claimed will save power compared to the Android OS .
