Apple began sending emails to iTunes users who recently made in- app purchases ( IAP ) . The email tells the user that they can claim refunds for IAP without permission , which carried the children .
Users are given instructions about the steps that can be done to claim the refund . All claims must be reported before 15 April 2015 . Apple did not just agree to modify billing practices , but the company is also committed to pay a fine of $ 32, 5 million .
