Former Employee Nokia Launches Smartphone Jolla Based Sailfish
A team , which is a former employee of Nokia , unveiled the first smartphone running a Sailfish with the official platform for € 399 in Finland .
Smartphone named Jolla equipped with a 4.5 -inch IPS screen qHD quality . Powered by the kitchen runway like 400 Snapdragon chipset with a dual - core 1.4GHz Krait , Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM . There is also an 8MP rear camera , 16GB of internal memory plus an external memory slot , and complete connectivity options including I2C .
Running on MeeGo -based OS called Sailfish , Jolla originally developed by former employees of Nokia . Using gestures on its use , Jolla also able to run Android applications . Sailfish OS comes with support for 85,000 Android applications already available on Yandex store . Not only that it will also become available pre -installed Nokia Maps HERE , as reported by gadgets.ndtv .

Jolla is now available in Finland , and will be rolling marketed in 135 countries.
