Yota , Smartphone Dual Sailing from Russia Begin Sale
Yota brand new phones with 've ever heard one year ago , when the Russian company announced plans to add e-ink displays to smartphones . Yota final product is now available in Russia and parts of Europe with dual 4.3-inch screens on both sides .
E - ink screen on the back has a lower resolution which is 640 x 360 pixels , but enhance the user experience by displaying images and notification of the main LCD , so it can save battery . In contrast to the general smartphone screen , e-ink displays do not consume power when displaying static images . Of course it is very useful when reading e - books or notification .
YotaPhone rear screen is not touch -type , but has a " capacitive touch zone " at the bottom to control the movement .
Apart from the secondary screen , YotaPhone a standard middle-class smartphone . Featuring a dual-core Krait processor 1.7GHz , with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage . Yota successfully obstruct 13MP main camera on the back capable of 1080p video recording , plus a 1MP front-panel lens . As an added bonus , YotaPhone support LTE network and supported 1,800 mAh battery charged . YotaPhone already running the new version of the operating system of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean .
At launch , Yota 500,000 units preparing to deploy to the market covering Russia , Germany , France , Austria , and Spain . The device is expected to be available in the UK , Greece , Czech Republic , and Cyprus in January. Price range to be fitted is € 499 or around Rp 8 million .
There are currently no plans to market the smartphone Yota besutannya outside Europe. Most likely the Russian company was still awaiting the results of the sales in Europe before deciding to menjajakannya to America or Asia . In addition to the above list , other European countries are also targeted as YotaPhone market in Q1 2014.
