BlackBerry "Jakarta" and Foxconn made will be Appear at MWC
When John Chen took over as CEO Thorsten Heins BlackBerry from , one of the first gembrakan is an agreement with a manufacturer Foxconn for 5 years .
According to the agreement , Foxconn will design , produce , and manage the logistics of a range of low-end for Blackberry in emerging markets . Terry Gou , Foxconn officials , told Focus Taiwan ( 26/1 ) that his company along with the BlackBerry , will feature several new devices at MWC next month in Barcelona .
While Gou did not mention the exact number of phones that will be revealed next month , one could be the BlackBerry Jakarta . It is believed to be one of the new entry-level model that is expected to be sent directly to Indonesia .
But CEO John Chen hinted new BlackBerry models will feature a physical QWERTY , while Jakarta is alayar touch models .
Besides Indonesia , Mexico is one country that is expected to receive a new BlackBerry phone , according to a statement released by Foxconn .
