CALIFORNIA - iPhone's 6 'body' will be thinner than its predecessor. The latest generation of Apple's smartphone is reported to have a thickness of only 6mm or 0.236 inches.
According to ET News sources, as reported by Softpedia, Wednesday (01/08/2014), Apple is currently developing a new iPhone. "The iPhone is expected to be released this year and is very thin," said the source.
According to sources in the industry of Information Technology (IT), Apple wants the latest iPhone 50 percent thinner than the iPhone 3GS which has a thickness of 12mm. As for the casing would be made of metal.
Currently the smartphone vendors like Samsung and Sony have launched a smartphone with a larger screen. But so far, Apple is rumored to not want to enlarge the size of the iPhone screen and follow the trend of the screen 'jumbo'.
