In 2013, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 with menggadang predicted eye-tracking feature that is new to smartphones . And it looks like the company is now working on a similar feature is further enhanced in order presented in the next -generation flagship , the Samsung Galaxy S5 . A patent application has been filed in Europe last year for a new method that will allow users to control their mobile devices through the head tracking feature .

The front camera will be the primary tool used , the patent states that this feature will be useful when the user is not able to touch their device or when wearing gloves can not detect touchscreen . Users will be able to interact with the device via a wink , a nod , and head movements . Samsung itself has not commented on this patent , so it is not clear whether this technology will appear on the Galaxy S5 . But one thing to keep in mind that technology patent filings do not always end up in the hands of consumers . Samsung does have hinted at the possibility of the Galaxy S5 has the iris scanner , but so far no official confirmation . The next -generation flagship Galaxy is expected to release in April 2014.
