It seems that negotiations between Sony and Microsoft be successful because the Japanese company will join the list of Windows Phone hardware manufacturers . Director of Microsoft's Windows Phone , Greg Sullivan has confirmed to China Cnet site that Sony will release its own Windows Phone smartphones in 2014 .
In fact , this device is said to be released into the market by the middle of this year . Sony Smartphone with Windows Phone platform will carry the Vaio brand , allows consumers to distinguish it from Xperia handsets running Android .
